How To Turn On Bluetooth On Laptop Windows 8
The Bluetooth switch was moved in Win 8.1.
Charms bar> Settings> Change PC settings> PC and devices> Bluetooth
Besides use this screen when attempting to pair devices.

So, below is the screenshot of that screen. This is all I get. No controls, zip but information technology constantly searching without stopping. There is only a Remove Device choice but nothing about preferences to command the device or stopping bluetooth.
I have a 2nd question, would I be able to accept this bluetooth dongle from my laptop and utilize it sometimes for my desktop?

a) What is the brand and model of the Bluetooth Dongle?
b) Have you lot installed the Bluetooth drivers?
c) Is the Bluetooth driver compatible with Windows viii?
I would advise you to install the latest Bluetooth drivers from manufacturer website of the Bluetooth you lot are using and check if it helps:

Download and install drivers

The bluetooth device is a: Targus Bluetooth iv.0 dual-mode usb adapter. Model ACB10US1

I installed the driver from the included DVD as per the instructions from the guide.
Aye, information technology is compatible with Windows 8, that's why I bought it.
Windows sees it merely fine, I just want to be able to turn information technology off at present and and then when I'm not using it.

If you are notwithstanding facing the issue here is what we tin can endeavor:
Try these steps and bank check if you tin can see the Bluetooth settings:
- Open PC settings , and click/tap on Network in the left pane.
- Click/tap on Plane way in the left pane of Network.
- In the correct pane under Wireless devices, move the Bluetooth slider to plough on (correct) or off (left) for what you want.(Do you lot see the option?)

Hello,
I suspect the Bluetooth driver is not getting installed completely so it is not showing up.
Please bank check the status of the device in device manager.
Press Windows Fundamental and Ten together on your keyboard, select device manger from the listing. This will take yous to device manger window.
Please get dorsum with the required information.

Hi,
We have verified everything and the device is working well but it is not meeting the claims under the Basic Operations section of the argus Bluetooth 4.0 dual-mode usb adapter. Therefore I would propose you to contact the manufacturer of the device for further aid.

Tried this when I get to PC and devices Blutooth is not in that location my summit is a ASUS F502C whatsoever suggestions running windows viii.i
